The men of Alpha Tau Omega, all across the country, are bound together under eternal and immutable principles. A primary part of these lessons is the importance of community service and philanthropic participation.

Our Mission

The Gamma Rho Chapter is involved with two different philanthropic charities throughout each school year: "RAMS" and "Coyote Hill Foundation". These events raise awareness for RAMS, Rocking Against Multiple Sclerosis and Coyote Hill Foundation. The Coyote Hill Foundation helps underprivileged kids getting some of their wants who have a hard childhood. Last year alone Gamma Rho donated over $13,000 to Coyote Hill helping many young kids. For RAMS, there’s week long activities including a dance show performed by many of the greek life houses on campus.

We believe that being a fraternity means more than creating a lasting brotherhood. We are leaders on campus and want to leave a mark year after year on the community. Our participation in every sorority's philanthropy, in addition to our community service, has helped us to achieve that. Last year Gamma Rho raised close to $20,000 in philanthropic donations.

Philanthropy service is vital to the success of any Greek chapter because it sets goals for the chapter and brings the community together to raise awareness for many great causes. Alpha Tau Omega strives to be the leading service chapter at Mizzou and we are well on our way to that goal.

Philanthropy and service are two of the things we pride ourselves most on. We participate in every sorority philanthropy and actively look for new ways to involve ourselves. Doing different service events is the best ways to meet new people and support a great cause at Mizzou.
